Not long ago I planted hyacinth bulbs but somehow forgot and decided they must be tulips. I never enjoyed my pretty little purple hyacinth because all along I was waiting for bigger better tulips. Isn't life like that sometimes? That is why I am at the foot of the cross. I miss less from this perspective.

This is to remind all of us East coasters that there will be a day this cold gloomy weather does have an end, flip flops will come out of their hybernation and bare shoulders will be kissed by the sun once again. I can't wait!

I love the snow and am very thankful for the inordinate amount that we have gotten this year. But, alas, I understand that not everyone feels this way.
