Kyria, Greek for "Chosen Woman"

I am so excited for September 1! Not only am I super excited to start the Autumn season in all its beautiful colors, apple cider, cozy sweater glory, September is a big month around here this year. There are going to be guest bloggers and giveways. Autumn is my favorite time of year so around here, I think this is a great way to celebrate.

I've been praying recently about finding those who can encourage me to go deeper in my faith. Don't get me wrong, there are wonderful encouragers in my life that I am quite thankful for. The encouragement I'm talking about though is step on my toes, move forward, accountability, go deeper encouragement. So when I found Kyria.com by Christianity Today you can bet I was super stoked.

There are articles and blogs encouraging deeper more personal friendships, challenging thoughts on prayer, church culture, and Christ focus vs. self focus.

This digizine is open access until October. An early subscription discount is offered before that time. I hope it can be as much of an encouragement to you as it has already been to me and I only just found it this afternoon! Go take a peak! You won't be disapointed.

Today has been a pretty good day. We stayed in today since Miss Wiggles has a cold. Two of her naps were in her car seat in middle of her room to help with drainage. I can't believe she is sleeping even now. Not much disturbs that girl's need for sleep. Of course as I write this I can hear her over the monitor grunting to clear the drainage. Poor baby girl. I suppose I should get to sleep myself incase she decides to wake up and prove this post wrong.

I am super excited that next week we are going to Nags Head North Carolina. If anyone knows of good antique, thrift and junk shops in that area, please share. I am eager to find myself some treasure!

We're headed to Nags Head on Friday for the LONG, much-needed weekend!

There are tons of antique stores-- really a beautiful, slow-strolling kind of area, which is exactly what I need right now! There's a really nice antique mall at mile marker 11.

There are several thrift stores down there that I like-- Hotline thrift has two or three locations-- one is right there at milepost 10...another one close to milepost 3. There's also one that's called like King's daughter's or something-- really close to Milepost 11, I believe-- but I much prefer the Hotline stores.

Here's hoping for beeeautiful weather this coming weekend! :-) Have a great time!
