For those who care (and those who don't I guess) the Open House Party Saturday was awesome!!! Lots and lots of people, lots and lots of food, lots and lots of good conversation. My homemade chili and fresh baked bread went off like a "Supa Sta" (that's super star for those not geeky enough to get that). Want to see pictures? Umh, sorry. Funny story about that. We will laugh about it someday right? Right? Well, Friday night Hubby and I are just chit chatting about this and that and the issue with taking pictures of jewelry comes up. My little digital camera just isn't cutting it anymore. I calculated about thirty or thirty five different pieces I want up on my Etsy by Feb. 8. Yes, I'm a little behind the whole Valentines thing. Yay!!!! I'm healthy again and so is Miss Wiggles. Whew! Party is on! Thank you to Colonel Stone for the cute princess bow. Wow, I took a hiatus from the blog world to focus on my life. When I come back half my blog girls are at Blissdom. I'm a tiny bit jealous. To make up for it, I will have to go to Wal-Mart today.....it sounded as bad in my head too. Well, never the less, I'm having some super AWESOME people come over tomorrow and I am going to make homemade bread and chili for them . Yeah, its gonna be awesome. Well, and there is gonna be those cool little pigs in a blanket from Costco, not from scratch. Actually, a few things frozen from Costco. Hey, but I'm gonna heat them up so that counts right? I'm a great heater upper.

Last week I was seriously some kind of Super Woman. I had more energy than ever. I was like Martha Stewart and Rachael Ray. AWESOME!! I love second trimester hormones. Umh, until I crashed. Yeah, not fun. I painted the bathroom green Friday night. I decided I did not like a green bathroom. Saturday, I painted the bathroom a bright white. It looks better. Well, all but that it still needs one more coat. I just didn't have it in me. We had dinner guests Saturday and that took everything I had. I was also contending with major allergies from he massive cleaning I did Friday. Did I mention I made several loaves of bread from scratch last week? Yeah, new bread machine rocks. Then I realized those allergies turned into a cold. The play date on Tuesday was canceled. Then the play date on Wednesday disintegrated (my friend's little guy was sick too). Then we had to stay away from our readers club Wednesday and Bible Study last night. Today? I had to cancel going to go see a friend toda...

Nothing like a deadline to help get things moving. I am advertising my Etsy site in February on Etsy. February 8 will find me in the bracelet section while February 9 will find me in both earrings and necklaces. I would like to take this moment to say no matter how many times I write out earrings I still want to spell it earings and do often enough. Embarrassing. So tell me I am not the only one here. I have found having a Crackberry I mean Blackberry has made my digital camera tedious. I mean, how did that happen? I thought digital cameras made film cameras tedious. I find taking pictures with my phone and immediately sending them to facebook or email is so so much easier. I will be so so happy when phone cameras are comparable to actual cameras. I really want a nice camera. Trying to take pictures for Etsy sucks at the moment because my camera leaves a lot to be desired like detail. Whine, whine whine. Might I also add that I am happy it is a new year? I am. Last year was great and ...

You know, I went through some pretty difficult years with trying to have a baby. There were doctor's appointments, months of hope and disappointment . There were miscarriages, painful baby showers for excited friends, friend's kids to babysit etc. I remember it. It isn't like I've wiped it from my mind. But maybe somewhere amidst the life that now revolves around nap time and play dates , it kind of went to the back of my mind. So when I say something really really stupid to another fellow sister of that unwanted journey I think, did I really say that, have I become a foolish unknowing person? Time can have that effect on people I guess. But Jesus help me to be a fountain of at least comforting water even though my words are coming from a pregnant mom of a toddler. Is that even possible? I have no idea, but please don't let me speak the cutting words I've yet to forget myself.

Update: Just noticed I mispelled little in the title. Oops. That is what I get for typing late at night. :) For what ever reason, when it comes to praying for my children I am at a loss for my own words. I have the Power of a Praying Parent by Stormie Omartian and that is a great starting block. I also love to pray scripture. So today when my pastor, Pastor Doug went over Colossians for the second time, I was super excited that he outlined from chapter one some great bits to pray for when praying for others, you know, beyond just praying for safe travels and health. ;) Taking from Pastor Dough's sermon and turning the outline into a personal prayer, here is the verses somewhat in my own words but mostly just scripture. Can I just say how thankful I am for the website, Picnik ? I just edited some E tsy listings and I feel like such a slacker seeing how much nicer they look. Next on my list is going through and editing all my Miss Wiggles pictures so her photo album will show her bright spirit for years to come. Whew!
