First day on the job

I guess this is my first posting. I am excited to have a forum where I may share my thoughts and hear from others. I hope you all enjoy.


The chaos of my brain summed up:
My mind is a bubbling jumbled bowl full of thoughts and ideas swirling and twirling, mixing and mingling.

What I would like to know about you is what did you dream about being when you were a child?

Warning: as an aspiring writer what you say could become a quote in something I write in the future. :)

You're going to laugh and probably not believe me... but when I was young (this is actually written down in a book my mom has) I wanted to be a secretary!! See, sometimes dreams do come true! :) (~Christina...aka'WonderMom4Christ')

I wanted to be a baby nurse when I was little. That and a teacher. I never ever wanted to teach the kids that I teach now though. I didn't even want to teach them when I started this year. I just wanted to get this year done and move on with my life as a Resource room teacher. But the kids have wrapped their little fingers around my heart and I can't imagine another job. I do feel like a glorified babysitter with some, but the others grow and do so well that I can't help but love them all.

This will come as no suprise to anyone that knows me, but I wanted to be a vet. Of course, before that (when I was REALLY young), I wanted to be a princess with horses, dogs, cats, and all sorts of animals! Well, I'm not a vet, but I would say that I was able to acomplish (at least) the animals portion of my dream when little! :)
