New updates everyday!
God continually amazes me. So far the stressful side of job hunting has not materialized. Thank the Lord for that! So far it's just been a great experience watching God do His thing. Dan had a great time at the job fair. He has call backs from a few of the companies. One in particular sounds promising. It's with a textile company that makes fabric for things like back packs, tents, work out and hiking clothes. They do more, but this is the part I remember. I will keep you updated.
Anyhow, Dan has another job fair next week we will both go to about a ten mile drive from here. I am excited because I love day long road trips. As for me, I applied to The Institute of Children's Literature and was accepted. I am very excited about this. I have a one on one instructor who will help me work towards being a published children's author. This is way cool. I also will be having a meeting at the Care Net Resource Pregnancy Center that I volunteer at to hash out the details of my new part time job there. I am so excited about this! I will use the money I make to pay for the writing school. I am so excited about this I love writing and I think that I am good at it. I can seriously get on the level of any child I am with. Dan thinks it's funny when I get around junior high girls because I can act just like them. It's fun though, and I remember from my youth days that I loved the leaders in the youth group that could get down on my level. Of course the grown up ones were great pillars of strength as well.
Any how, I had to share all this great news with you. I am pretty excited about all of this. I am praying that as Dan and I move forward in all that God has for us, that we recognize that we can do nothing if not for the strength of His Holy Spirit in us. We do not desire to walk a path that was not made by Him for us. Our ultimate goal is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with as many as possible. There is after all no great purpose in life and amen to that!
