Update
I am now sitting in our new home in Dan's office. I can't tell you how great it is to have the office right off the kitchen. It really helps Dan and I spend more time together as I get dinner ready and he works on stuff like paying the bills. It has been a while since I have written I understand, but I'm sure you will all forgive me since it was for the sake of moving. I am glad it is done. Of course now we have to settle into this house and finish packing boxes which is quickly getting to the no phone point. I have decided after already painting the base house all back to white then painting our new office, living room and bedroom, I am painted out. I have an idea what I want every where, but mostly, I am done for a while.
Leo is adjusting well it seems. He is enjoying the carpet being able to dig his back claws in and tear around the living room. So far the office is still our favorite hang out. It's actually the exact same color it was in the base house which is fine with me. The living room however is now gray blue and the bedroom is olive green. I am getting me inspiration from the Fall Pottery Barn catologue.
We visited a church today which seems like a good church. We are going to keep it on the maybe list for sure. It's called Friendship Baptist Church. Dan keeps forgetting and calls it Fellowship Church. He's so cute.
The house is slowly beginning to feel like home. Since I've been pretty moody lately (not pregnant) I've been a bit more high strung and stressed. Dan has been very patient with me. I admit it's pretty unbearable. When things calm down, I should do a little better. I want to get back to working at the pregnancy center. It's actually a little bit away from where we live. I didn't think to calculate that in when we were looking for a house. I guess it's a good thing my car gets good gas mileage.
