Link of the Day

I just want you to know, that some of those links I pick out of the links of the day are songs and stuff that hit home to me. Believe it or not even the Bionic Bunny. You see, God is always changing me. Sometimes its like I turn around and I see a change I didn't know was happening but other times it's like open heart surgery without the anesthesia. Well, right now I'm kind of in one of those moments. What gets me through is knowing that as each part of the old me is removed, God is replacing it with a new me. Each part of the new me can see God better, clearer, more real. He is removing my pride for humility, world focus for eternal focus, me focus for you focus and self focus for Jesus focus. God is replacing my fear and making me bolder. I am figuring out that Jesus loves each and every one of us and accepts us just the way we are and that includes the punk, the prep, the homosexual, the prostitute, the stay at home mom and the feminist. I don't want to miss letting those know who have never been told. I was thinking this morning as I was driving, "I'm sorry I don't show what I know and leave what I believe when I'm with you but Jesus died for you it's true. Though the words aren't coming know I kneel and pray you accept him into your heart to stay." That's my little rap lyric God have me this morning as I prayed on my way to work. I guess its fitting then that I stumbled across this music video that is my link of the day because man o man, its me he is singin about.

I did it, I really did it. I've never done something to at this scale of work. It took me many hours but I did it. I am so proud of this DIY project. My first DIY Day! I would be remiss in mentioning that this little beauty is my best DIY and that handsome man there, well, he just melts my heart and fortifies it all at the same time. DIY Day a bracelet and another Frenchh Memo Board

This week, I have two DIY projects. This is a faux pearl bracelet I made last week for a friend. It is a three strand bracelet. I couldn't really say how I did it though. I can say it has taken me a while to get the nack of jewelery making. One thing I have sufficiently gotten the nack of is this French Memo Baord thing. Here is a magnetic one I made for my fridgerator out of left over scraps from the window from last week . For the month of September, all my DIYs will be giveways. Atleast one will be...well, a guest DIY and a giveway by my SIL over at Read Be Tween the Lines. My sister, Candy and Ladybugs has a picture in her side bar of her latest crosstiching (did I spell that right? My spell check didn't catch it but I don't think thats how it is spelled) project. A New Side Table Arrangement and Jewelery Give Away

I did not think through planning blog posts on certain days when I had a Beach Trip planned. Shortly before we arrived at our rented beach house for the Labor Day Weekend, the owners cut off the Internet service. Bummer. Yes, I could have gone to the Dunkin' Doughnuts and gotten free Wi - Fi but that would have meant being pulled away from this cutie. Miss Wiggles does not like the bright sun (she is a fair skinned red head so I suppose its only natural) so she loved loved loved her sunglasses. Never once did she try to pull them off or attempted to touch them. I think 'cause she sees me where mine, she just knew. In the DIY blogging world, there have been so many neat table arrangements, and arranging every where else from bed sides, dressers , mantles, windows, etc. that I felt I should try my novice hand at artfully arranging my side table to the cozy leather chair in my library (aka, home office).
