Things have been good since I've been back home from Arizona. I am working hard at finding a job. I've put my resume in at several places. I have an interview coming up for a church administrative assistant position. I am hoping that works out. I am still volunteering at the pregnancy center. For Christmas Dan gave me an elliptical machine which is just awesome since I've been wanting one for a long time. Dan showed me a new work out routine that he does, and I am so so sore. I just need to keep it up and I will be able to see the difference in no time. I'm waiting until January to start a new kind of diet for forty days. I want Dan and me to do it together but I knew that we had to be more settled to do it. I'll keep you updated on that.
We are looking foreword to spending Christmas with Dan's family. I am excited about all the last minute things before Christmas. I am going to do a lot of baking this week.

My favorite thing this week was reading a book that I have read about three or four times all ready. I leave you with a quote by CS Lewis. "I can't imagine a man really enjoying a book and reading it only once."

I wish you luck with the job thing. I've been asked about maybe doing the church administrative postion too. How weird is that? I hope that you find (and get offered) a job that you will love! :) Have fun baking this week. Love the quote, I totally agree! I love you and miss you! :)

I did it, I really did it. I've never done something to at this scale of work. It took me many hours but I did it. I am so proud of this DIY project. My first DIY Day! DIY Day a bracelet and another Frenchh Memo Board

This week, I have two DIY projects. This is a faux pearl bracelet I made last week for a friend. It is a three strand bracelet. I couldn't really say how I did it though. I can say it has taken me a while to get the nack of jewelery making. One thing I have sufficiently gotten the nack of is this French Memo Baord thing. Here is a magnetic one I made for my fridgerator out of left over scraps from the window from last week . For the month of September, all my DIYs will be giveways. Atleast one will be...well, a guest DIY and a giveway by my SIL over at Read Be Tween the Lines. My sister, Candy and Ladybugs has a picture in her side bar of her latest crosstiching (did I spell that right? My spell check didn't catch it but I don't think thats how it is spelled) project. A New Side Table Arrangement and Jewelery Give Away

I did not think through planning blog posts on certain days when I had a Beach Trip planned. Shortly before we arrived at our rented beach house for the Labor Day Weekend, the owners cut off the Internet service. Bummer. Yes, I could have gone to the Dunkin' Doughnuts and gotten free Wi - Fi but that would have meant being pulled away from this cutie. Miss Wiggles does not like the bright sun (she is a fair skinned red head so I suppose its only natural) so she loved loved loved her sunglasses. Never once did she try to pull them off or attempted to touch them. I think 'cause she sees me where mine, she just knew. In the DIY blogging world, there have been so many neat table arrangements, and arranging every where else from bed sides, dressers , mantles, windows, etc. that I felt I should try my novice hand at artfully arranging my side table to the cozy leather chair in my library (aka, home office).
