2 Part Post

First I want to share a Greek word with you, eperchomai. This Greek word I obtained in the Beth Moore study, Breaking Free. This Greek word means to; come upon; to arrive, invade...resting upon and operating in a person.

Verse; Romans 8:9 "You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. (NIV)

As I am tempted by a great many things in my daily life whether it be to indulge in a pleasure like right now is sugary foods or to think myself more important than others, I can be assured Jesus Christ has been tempted as I have and as His Holy Spirit dwells in me guiding me away from actions controlled by my sin nature. This past weekend I double booked myself...again. Since I couldn't be in both places at once, I agonized over having to call and cancel with one or the other. I knew that in my emotional state I would not have been able to make the desicion myself but having the Holy Spirit in me to direct me to pouring my heart out before my Lord, I knew He would direct my path. So I am thankful that the Spirit of Christ has so invaded this sin filled girl, full of selfishness and foolishness, I am thankful He has come to direct my path, to purify my words and actions.

Part 2

The second thing I want to share with you is that I have come to a place in my pregnancy where anything with a perfume smell is off limits. Well, anything smelly gives me a headache. :( My body wash has been bothering me, my body spray gives me a headache and then yesterday I used my tanning lotion to try and make my stretch marks less...well, ugly. The smell overcame me and since I had gone right out to lunch and a movie with my good friend, Shy, I was stuck with it. I took a shower as soon as I got home but it was to late. I got a major sinus headache which as they tend to do, became a migraine. So I am off to grocery shop and plan on buying all my smelly stuff in unscented products. My mom pointed out that the sensitive sniffer is to keep me from inhaling anything that could be harmful to Sarah Grace. This is just another anomaly of pregnancy.

Though I write this out to share, and yes it sounds like complaining, I wouldn't give it up for anything. I can now not just see Sarah Grace's kicks, but also her moving in general like waves under my belly. Yesterday I could feel her back pushing out on the right side. It was nice to run my hand along her back. I guess it makes that her first back rub. :) For a few days there, she was playing with my belly botton. For those who know me very well, know I had an outie belly botton. For an outie it was cute I think. Well, no more, I officially have an innie. Go me! Well, actually it still looks the same, its just not so sticking out. All right, enough over sharing for now. :)

Since next week is Thanksgiving I want to let you know that I am thankful for you; my family, my friends, and my church. Three cheers for you. Hip hip hurray! Hip hip hurray! Hip hip hurray!
