Books, Books, Books, Oh my gosh, I'm drooling!
I absolutely love books. This first picture is my prayer journal plus my journal from Kuwait I use for notes on things I learn in my personal Bible study time like Greek and Hebrew words (that is another post for later) I wrote about how I will have to hide my math anxiety (though when I get math, I absolutely love it, its the not getting it that gets me) a couple posts ago. Well, reading and books will be over the top genuine. What I should have pictured here is the leather books furniture we have. Our coffee table appears to be three leather bound books which actually holds our movies inside. Our board game cabinet looks like a half circle shelf of leather bound books (which is actually supposed to be a wet bar) and our side table by our chair is a nice little round table that looks the same as the others. Oh yeah and the end table where we store the National Geographic and all my miscellaneous papers. Okay, I'm going on and on about this. Sorry. I get a bit fanatical. Here are a couple more pictures of my latest book decorating.
I saw this idea in a Potter Barn catalogue. I was not liking how short the lamps were anyway. I waited until I found the right books and at last I have. Mine are Anna Karinina by Leo Tolstoy, an old children's dictionary and a green leather bound journal. I took the six or seven pill bottles(prenatals, and other needed vitamins), water bottle and magazines off so you could get a better view of the actually asthetic aspect. I don't want you to think it looks this nice all the time.
This is Dan's bedside done up with books under the lamp. His bedside always looks this good. His books are an old black leather Bible study journal, a green book with gold lettering titled, Right and Wrong and another I can't remember at the moment. Sorry this picture is a bit fuzzy. I'm certainly no photagrapher.
