Does three make a pattern that will stick?
Sarah has now slept through the night 10:30 to 4am three nights in a row. I hope this sticks. She then goes back to sleep until eight or nine am. We also switched her formula from lacto free to soy formula. We have to wait a week to see if it really works, but I think that it is. She spits up less, has an easier time feeding and seems to have less gas. Thank goodness for that. It was frustrating how much feeding was a struggle for her.
Being a mom now, I have to say there is no way to prepare to be a mom. Being one now, I keep coming across so many different things that I realize I did not get before. I never understood the schedule limitations and the whole being able to talk on the phone thing without interruption. It has only been five weeks and I am so changing in how I see things and respond to things. Its pretty cool though I can't really describe it. I need to find my journal and write in it and then look back and read the difference. Journals are good for that. :)
Today and tomorrow, Dan and I will finish painting the living room. Then we have to focus on getting all the stuff together for the storage space and for Goodwill. After that we will be done with all the "stuff" we have to do which will be great. I am so wanting to just relax as a family on the weekends. Please pray we can get the house sold without speed bumps and road blocks. I think that is an area to trust God since we know He gave Dan this job and God doesn't just help part way but full way.

I hope it sticks. She may have times when she wants to eat at night because of growth spurts. Try to resist feeding her then. She can easily get back into that habit of getting up at night. Jamie did that, after she'd been getting up at night. We fed her the first night, and then it took her three nights to get back to sleeping through the night after we didn't feed her again. She lived and seems to be a well adjusted child now. :)
