Then & Now
So here I was two weeks ago on a Sunday night before God brought me the best present ever.
My very own little Peanut. Yes I realize just about everyone calls their baby a Peanut, but I can't help it. What else would I call her, a Cashew. It just doesn't have the same ring.
My parents went home yesterday and now I am officially the primary caregiver for this little human being. I have to say I am very very thankful for my mom, because I now have (knock on wood) a baby that is pretty good about sleeping through the night. Its pretty nice. I love our mornings together so now we officially have our nights together. Boy, two weeks in and I'm only now getting her at night. Can't get much better than that. I really am blessed to have had the time to really recoup from my c-section. The bruising around the incision was worse that the incision. I can't wait to start walks every day and exercising to get my muscles back to somewhat useful. My abs are just useless right now.
Oh, I'm being paged my my itty bitty squeeker. I hope you are all doing well.
