Tidbits and God time on the Go

Here is a picture of Sarah, AKA Gumby. How do they sleep like that? I can't even get my head into that position. I'm not that stretchy. Gotta love that look of peace though.
Thank you to those who e-mailed me phone numbers. Too those wonderful people whose phone numbers are lost, I'm sorry our friendship has to end like this. I'll never call you again because I don't have your number or any way to contact you. It was nice knowing you while it lasted (cue big sigh and a single lonely tear, gaze off into the sunset).
OK so there is still hope. Dan did get the phone on though it doesn't do anything but just say Samsung. Hopefully we can at least retrieve info off of it. There are cute pics of Sarah also.
Speaking of Sarah, we took her to church for the first time this morning. I didn't take her out of the car seat though. I'm not ready for people to be loving on her yet. I can barely handle the sleep deprivation of a healthy baby so just the thought of a sick baby overwhelms me. I really love her current sermon series, but unfortunately I didn't catch much of the sermon this morning. I got it while I heard it but later couldn't recall it. Bummer.
Thank you April for contributing to my last post on ways to keep up with good God time with a baby. I am going to use the idea of note cards with Bible verses up in different spots. I will put some relevant verses in different places like next to the glider, above the changing table, on the fridge and so forth. I may even try quotes from people I admire. One thing I have been getting in my e-mail is red letter verses. I also love to skip on over to Beth Moore's blog. Beth and her two daughters have some inspiring words that lift me up. So does Angie's blog, Bring On the Rain. These are a few things and of course I'm still looking. I gave Dan a devotional on CD that is tailor made for men's commutes to work. He is loving that as well as the Bible on his IPOD.
Thats it for now.

Sarah is so cute! Another way to protect her when out in public, is to put her in the sling. I did that with Faith. :)
