I'm an angel I swear!


Notice the swaddler blanket is holding her binky in her mouth. Awesome. I will never admit that at times I've thought of using the small holes a string to tie it to her head at night. I would never admit that. No not me!

The doctor has confirmed the eyes will stay blue and her hair is red so my baby girl is a blue eyed red head. Awesome!

Sarah is napping at the moment. Today has been much easier than yesterday. I have gotten a lot more done today. I think that does something for my mental state. I feel a bit more in control.

Speaking of being in control. Nothing like a screaming baby to turn you to prayer. I keep a Bible in her room so as I'm waiting for her to fall asleep I can get some reading in.

Today is a good day.

I love all the hair. None of my kid grow hair until they are two. I fourth may have hair but not sure because he or she is still in my dreams . That is a great way to keep up on the reading of His Word. You are doing great. Its ok not to have order some times. Just look in to your little blue eyes and say its worth it!

Her hair is cut. can you send me that picture? She sure looks cute when she's sleeping. :) She does when she's awake too. hehe

DIY Day a bracelet and another Frenchh Memo Board

This week, I have two DIY projects. This is a faux pearl bracelet I made last week for a friend. It is a three strand bracelet. I couldn't really say how I did it though. I can say it has taken me a while to get the nack of jewelery making. One thing I have sufficiently gotten the nack of is this French Memo Baord thing. Here is a magnetic one I made for my fridgerator out of left over scraps from the window from last week . For the month of September, all my DIYs will be giveways. My second greatest creation!

I did it, I really did it. I've never done something to at this scale of work. It took me many hours but I did it. I am so proud of this DIY project. My first DIY Day! I would be remiss in mentioning that this little beauty is my best DIY and that handsome man there, well, he just melts my heart and fortifies it all at the same time. Here is the plain old dirty six paned window I have been hauling with me every where since I found it a few years ago at a Habitat for Humanity Restore. I had it done up before but that was a novice's attempt at crafty. I knew when I saw the other crafty DIY projects floating around the blogosphere that I would need to get serious in order to play with the big dogs. Inspiration

So, I am reading this book, $100 Startup by Chris Guillebeau. I'm not planning on starting a business or anything. Its just super inspirational. I like inspirational people. I have this friend, Kathrine who is the best sewing person, sewer or whatever you call it in the whole world. When inspiration strikes, she sews stuff.  I think that is freaking awesome. I have friends who have passions and they just go for it. Love it! My brother, Justin wanted to design toys. He did it. My brother and sister in love, Scott and Laura wanted to start a youth horse ranch. They are doing it. My husband was a sweet little country boy who wanted to go to the Air Force Academy. He did it. See the pattern? I like being inspired. So $100 Startup is a book full of people who find themselves not so much in a career or really intending to make it big but they just start down a path and do what they love.
