Feeling better

I am feeling so much better! I was in rare form writing that last post. Being sick will do that to me. Congestion is almost completely gone. Sarah seems to not have gotten my cold. She had a low grade fever earlier but that was probably mostly the heat and all the people passing her around. Once I took her upstairs and it was the two of us and then she spent some time alone in the bassinet she was much better. She went to sleep very easily. I haven't had her with me at night this whole trip, but tonight I think I will just keep her in my room. Sarah is so great letting everyone hold her and love on her. Her cousins just adore her. They all fawn all over her. I love it. I will have a pictures soon to show you. I have had so much fun just playing with all my nieces and nephew. Gavin absolutely loves baby Sarah. I got a picture of him holding her. It was precious. Gavin is very much just like his daddy. It was so great to see my family this trip. My soul was so thirsty for this time. I feel like since I've had Sarah I have gotten a lot closer to all of them. It is just another product of how much Sarah has changed me.

The last couple days I've been able to go swiming with my nieces and still haven't gotten so much as a hint of a tan line. I'm so pale I could guide planes in the case of a black out. Oh well, pale skin is healthy skin is skin that won't wrinkle prematurely. My niece Faith asked why I wanted a tan and I was at a loss to answer her. Being the sweet fair skinned beauty that she is, I didn't want to give her the impression I thought having darker skin was more bautiful. Children are so impressionable. I made sure to tell her I thought my pale skin was pretty, I was just hoping to cover my stretch marks. So her asking me that has made me be okay I haven't had the chance to tan. Pale white skin is beautiful so next time I ware shorts just make sure you wear sun glasses. :)

Thank you for helping Faith love her pale skin. She tans pretty easily. But we aren't going to be out in the sun too much this summer. So she will probably stay pretty pale, which is good. :)

I have enjoyed you and baby Sarah as well. :)

My time with my nieces and nephew has by far been the best part of this trip to Arizona. That and of course celebrating Justin's college graduation. :)

I can bet you 100 dollars you aren't as pale as I am Katie, so we can both be pale together. Glad you are feeling better. When are you guys moving back for sure?
