Great weekend and a great week to come.

Update: Oh how my daughter likes to humble me. As soon as I posted this post, Sarah started crying. Consider me humbled.

This Lil Fam had quite the weekend let me tell ya! Dan, Sarah and I went spending on Saturday like crazy. We bought new rugs, towels and couch pillows to spruce the house up. We also bought a crip and mattress. I decided we were not going to get a bumper pad for the crib but my sister was very generous to give us some money to help pay for that so we bought the crib which is great, because the closer we got using the crib we have the less we wanted to use it. Dan got a new pair of shoes and I got a new hair cut. (Pictures later). Dan also bought some stuff to reface the bathroom counter tops upstairs which will be great. He is also going to tile the master bathroom. Kitchens and master bathrooms sell homes and that master bath needed an upgrade big time to make it appealing.

When is he going to do this work? When Sarah and I are in Arizona to see my cooler than anybody little brother, Justin graduate from college! I am so pruod of him, so excited for him and filled with total admiration for him in how he has saught out his dreams with determination and a resolve that most people never have. I am going to also stay for the first three nights at my brother Scott's house. I am quite excited about this since my brothers; Brandon and Scott live so far out from my mom's it makes it hard to see them and their familie's as much as I like. So for the first three nights I'll be at Scott's and the last three I will be at my mom's. I am quite excited because my sister and my grandma are there now at Mom's. While I am so stoked about going to Arizona, the plane ride with Sarah I am apprehensive about. She's never been held for four hours at a time and I don't know how that is going to go over. She doesn't like being held all the time so say a prayer for us... and the people around us that they are understanding.

In the mean time, I have things to do before I go. Sarah is in a growth spurt which means she is more hungry than ever so wakes up every three hours. She is just getting so big. She hardly cries but just yells when she wants something. We are learning her sounds well enough she rarely gets to the crying stage, well unless we are in the car. Not much I can do when I'm driving honestly...well accept turn the radio up. :) Oh yeah, and when she's tired in the evenings. I forgot about that. My little morning person can get quite cranky 6pm and on.

They have bassinets on planes. Just let them know early and request to sit in the front where they attach them.

That is the coolest thing. I didn't know that, but will try to see if I can get that bassinet deal. Thanks.
