My Monday

Here we go again! Another week. Whew! Good weekend though. Dan and I interviewed realtors, spent the weekend with good friends, went to church at our old church. We were so touched to see that once it got out that we were there, several people came searching for us and then we ended up going out with friends for lunch. It was good...yeah very good.

I don't have a picture yet but Sarah has made it clear her new Minnie Mouse is her best friend. A good friend at our church in Chesterfield has claimed Sarah as a Grandbaby got it for Sarah at her recent trip to Disney Land (or World, I can never remember which one is which...I've never been to either one.) I'll try to get the picture I took with my phone. Its pretty cute.

Sarah is 10 weeks now and officially when she wares Pampers is a size 1, no longer N, newborn. They grow so fast. She smiles but no laughing yet. She insists on a 7pm bedtime. I'm good with that. Don't keep her up later than 8pm though, she just melts down.

Again on the Today Show, they talked about mother daughter relationships. I really take to heart what they said. The guest interviewee explained that moms and daughters when faced with struggling over differences say "I appreciate we are different in these areas and I respect those differences." "Or even though we are different in how we handle things I support you no matter what choice you make." The dynamic in a mother daughter relationship is such a unique one and full of conflict as well as unique relationship things that other relationships don't have. If I could post the interview here I think I will. I will look into it. Having my own daughter, I am very interested in how to be the best mom I can of course without all the guilt which I here is a permanent fixture. I've learned that starts early.
