This weekend, Take 2

Writing a post at ten o'clock at night may not be such a good idea. Now that I think about it, I think of written that here before. Sigh. When will I learn.

Here is a better recap of this past weekend. Sarah did indeed have a bad tummy on Sunday, but my wise friend Natalie helped us through it. Sarah looks awesome in her new crib and sleeps better. So much better that after going to bed at eight, she slept the entire night with no interruptions. I am happy for her because I know she needed the sleep...and Dan and I also like the extra uninterrupted sleep. Our friend's Natalie and Phil had an awesome get together at the house Sunday. It was great to see people we haven't seen in a while. I got giddy inside thinking about how I will soon be able to see them more often soon. They really are awesome people. I a bummed I didn't get to see John and Leah but soon enough, soon enough I will see them again. Best laid plans come undone, but I'm stubborn and tenacious so I will get to see Leah again and her house...eventually. ;) Sorry Leah for having to cancel on you twice this weekend.

We had a great time with Erin and Manny walking around Historic Gloucester, VA. What a fun place. I heard a song sung by the underground railroad on CD and think that will be my next purchase. What a great reminder of where we are from where we have been. Sarah had a great day on Monday. She loves to get out and see new things. I think when she begins to walk we will need more caffiene, that girl has a definite adventurous spirit.

Even though Sunday was a little rough on Sarah, she did indeed laugh. Dan got it on video on his phone and as soon as I figure out how to transfer that or make a new video I will indeed have to post that. What an awesome sound. I am so blessed.

I'm leaving the last post up though I really rather delete it. Taking it off would be hiding it and I much rather be real with you. I prayed about that this morning. The Book of James in the NT talks about counting all trials as joy as well as be slow to speak and quick to listen. I needed that reminder this morning.
