Post Pregnancy Hair Loss is Serious

When I heard of hair loss after pregnancy, I didn't realize how seriously true that was. I can feel how thin my hair is in comparison to only a week ago. Its rediculous how much hair I pull out of my head just running my hands through it. Crazy wierd.

In other news, Dan is tilling the kitchen and I am doing the grout. You read that right I am doing the grout. I am pretty good at it too. Its tedious but quite gratifying. We are hoping it will help our house sell. After the tile, Dan is going to make cabinet doors. He is so handy. I love it. I really hope the house sells sooner than that though because we have a house we have picked out and I can't wait to get to work on that one. It needs the kitchen and upstairs bathrooms remodled. Actually, the upstairs bathrooms need to be gutted and started from scratch. Hampton has an awesome ReStore, a store owned by Habitat for Humanity. A lot of different places, construction companies, remodeling companies, and those guys who knock houses down send all their extra stuff there.

For now, we just need to sell this house. House selling is stressful. I'm looking forward to being able to leave the house with dishes in think sink or laundery on the bed... an unmade bed. Yeah, that will be nice.

You know, Samuel is adopted and I'm losing hair...I think it's lack of sleep and improper nutrition!! We need to take better care of ourselves! :)

I know how stressful selling a house is when you have a small child. Theight thing for us to do was to take it off the market and make it the house we wanted to live in. I hope the Lord shows you which path to take.

DIY Day a bracelet and another Frenchh Memo Board

This week, I have two DIY projects. This is a faux pearl bracelet I made last week for a friend. It is a three strand bracelet. I couldn't really say how I did it though. I can say it has taken me a while to get the nack of jewelery making. One thing I have sufficiently gotten the nack of is this French Memo Baord thing. Here is a magnetic one I made for my fridgerator out of left over scraps from the window from last week . For the month of September, all my DIYs will be giveways. My second greatest creation!

I did it, I really did it. I've never done something to at this scale of work. It took me many hours but I did it. I am so proud of this DIY project. My first DIY Day! I would be remiss in mentioning that this little beauty is my best DIY and that handsome man there, well, he just melts my heart and fortifies it all at the same time. Here is the plain old dirty six paned window I have been hauling with me every where since I found it a few years ago at a Habitat for Humanity Restore. I had it done up before but that was a novice's attempt at crafty. I knew when I saw the other crafty DIY projects floating around the blogosphere that I would need to get serious in order to play with the big dogs. Inspiration

So, I am reading this book, $100 Startup by Chris Guillebeau. I'm not planning on starting a business or anything. Its just super inspirational. I like inspirational people. I have this friend, Kathrine who is the best sewing person, sewer or whatever you call it in the whole world. When inspiration strikes, she sews stuff.  I think that is freaking awesome. I have friends who have passions and they just go for it. Love it! My brother, Justin wanted to design toys. He did it. My brother and sister in love, Scott and Laura wanted to start a youth horse ranch. They are doing it. My husband was a sweet little country boy who wanted to go to the Air Force Academy. He did it. See the pattern? I like being inspired. So $100 Startup is a book full of people who find themselves not so much in a career or really intending to make it big but they just start down a path and do what they love.
