This that and others

Wow, what a great weekend. Dan, Sarah and I went Gloucester to see some friends and their new baby boy. He is so tiny, two pounds lighter than Sarah when she was born plus being a week old and breast fed, he was even lighter than that. I was excited he took to eating better than Sarah. Erin and Manny are great parents and great friends. There were also two friends in from California I was excited to see. Two great ladies who drove cross country for their summer vacation. It was so nice to see everyone. We also had some friends over for dinner last night. Our friends, Jan and Kevin are some of the best people I know to get into really meaty conversations about religion, theology, politics, sociollogy and psychollogy and world views as well. I always come away learning more things and with a fresh perspective. Tonight we will finish up the tile by grouting the tile in the dining area.

I love our house and how the eat in kitchen area and dining room are combined. Its a great area for both uses; formal and every day eating. We don't have room for a formal living room unless that's what you do with the downstairs bedroom. That is fine 'cause the family room is so big and spacious that extra living space isn't missed. Now I just wished that prospective buyers would see it that way. Dan and I are at the point that if the house doesn't sell this summer then we are taking it off the market and going to do some work to it. We are fine with that because we really love this house. Its really just our dream house with the creek out back and the farm behind us, with trees inbetween. Its quiet here and we feel so safe. The yard has enough shade to make it super enjoyable. Dan was talking yesterday about putting a jacuzzie under the deck. Ummh, if we stay permenantly, I'm all for that. If it weren't for the hour and a half drive to and from work, we would so stay. We are close enough to spend time with friends here and from our old church. Anyway, I guess I'm really just trying to talk this out to myself to make myself feel better more than I'm posting about it, so I will stop there.

Dan and I are renewing our vows this Saturday and we still don't know where we will do it. How is that for planning?
