The Sacred God Conversation

Who am I God that you would have died for me?

If you were the only one to accept me, daughter, I would not have changed a thing. You alone were worth the sacrifice.

I am only one in billions. I am not elequent or brave. Who am I that you hava deemed me worthy to share Your imprtant Word?

Who are you to question my choice? You are worthy child. Have faith and trust my reasoning.

They won't listen to me. They will reject me.

I am always listening though you can't see me. Though they may reject you, it is for such a short time. Eternity, you have with me.

You have asked of me to take Your Word to them. You have asked me to love them. Who have you called to speak to me? Who have you called to love me? Oh how ashamed I feel for even asking such a question.

Do not be ashamed. Before I formed this earth, before I organized the stars in the sky, long before the fall, the choices, the sin, the sacrifice, the grace, before your conception, before you, I knew you. Those stars in the sky, that salty water in the ocean, those trees with shade, those fields with produce, I made those for you because I love you. I sent Jesus to die for you. The one I have chosen to speak my message to you, to love you, to be with you, daughter is Me. I chose Me.

"You are worthy child."

Cheryl and I try to get that point across to my own children. They are valuable and worthy not b/c of how well they perform at a sport or b/c of the grades they get, but b/c they are ours and we deem them worthy. That is an important principle for parents to plant early and deeply. God tries to do that in us if we will but listen. Good post.
Thank you for sharing this deep and powerful God conversation. Loved it.
