This and That

As Revival is officially over this Sunday, I am reminded in my morning prayer time that the time for intense prayer is only beginning. I have been so excited to be a part of my church, even more so through this Revival. I want so much to continue this forward motion, mutually supporting, strengthening and encouraging each other.

Something I am bummed about though, a good friend of mine who just had a baby a few months ago had her military husband called away suddenly and was expected to be away for only three weeks. Well that was the week before labor day. At this point he still isn't expected home until mid November. Please keep my good friend in your prayers. She is quite a strong person and I am thankful to have her in my life.

I will have pictures soon of the jewelry I am making. The pink, perriwinkle, copper, orange, turquoise pearls are just too sweet for words. I've made some necklaces that just get me giddy. The more I make the better at it I am getting and just made a charm that I think is just to cool... warm, er, well, it's an autmn necklace so it is cool, but then it is warm colors so warm, or hot or, well, its just a really awesome charm.

My dad's knee surgery went well. I just talked to him a little bit ago and could hear the morphine in his voice. He is home though and I know that helps. My mom I know will do a great job taking care of him. I can't wait to get there to spend time with him and love on him. My dad is just the most amazing guy. He is such a work horse so this time for recovery I'm sure is going to be hard. He is already talking about teaching Sarah to crawl. :) I'll be sure to pack some rope and duct tape, keep him tied to his chair and his knee up. ;)

I heard that in Dad's voice too, Katie. He sounded better than he did on Wednesday though. :)

I love periwinkle! I just bought a white and periwinkle beta fish for my plant/vase. He's so purdy! :)

You are right about that time of intense prayer. I'm trying to build a list of 100 people to pray over for conversion or restoration.

Hope your dad's knee heals quickly, and your friend's husband gets to get home soon.
