This, That and the Winner is....

Over the last few weeks things have come out of my mouth with only half a thought contributed. Now that I am feeling a little more fuller in mind, I wonder how many times I said careless or just totally thoughtless things and have I alienated or hurt any one? I'm a talker so sometimes stuff just flows out of my mouth with out thinking. Anyway I'm sure I have, but no one seems to be smarting from any wounds, so I think I'll press forward. Anyway, thats just one of the things Dan and I talked about over dinner is all.

The time change means Sarah went to bed at 5pm. Crazy, but after going out of town on Sunday then having two very awesome energetic little girls at our house all day today I decided pushing her past her limits to get her used to the time change wasn't necassary today. Besides that, our being up with Daddy at 5:30 this morning was kind of a sweet thing that was good all around and after Daddy left for work we just went back to sleep. I'm no morning person though I wish I was, but I'm not. Sarah loved her fun with her two new friends today. We had some windows retrimed due to rotting and the guy doing the windows brought his two grandaughters along. I thought it would be a good idea to get Sarah socialized. The girls had the day off so it worked out. The girls are six and nine. Great fun, we made stuff, watched a movie, played in the creek, ate popcorn, drank hot cocoe, ate apple pie, pretended the carpet was molten lava (good thing my coffee table is sturdy and they were light weights).

As for yesterday's questions, my answers: 1. I have been thinking about this all day. I couldn't honestly come up with a show I would want to be in but since the question said if you HAD to be in a show so I pick Ghost Whipserer. I love Sci Fi stuff and I want Melinda's clothes. 2. Absolutely I would adopt those kids. I love Samantha's answer, I would work very hard to help the parents become better parents so they could at least be involved in their children's lives. This would be especially imprtant to do because, as I learned working in the juvenile court system, they will have more kids and I want to make sure those kids have a chance.

As far as the giveaway goes. CandyandLadybugs, being my sister, already has jewelry coming her way. So that means my two other commenters are going to luck out on this. Since there is just the two of you, you both win and when the earings are up on my site, just let me know which pair you want and they are yours. Just e-mail me. Congratulations!

Katie,
I appreciate your concern about how your words may be interpreted by others, and how they may experience them. That shows spiritual awareness and concern. I speak a lot, so I have to watch that a lot. I have caused more than a few bruises through the years. Good comments.
