A Christmas Party and Pics from Thanksgiving
Last night was Hubby's business party. It was really nice getting to know some of the cast of characters I hear about every day. Hubby and I have gotten to be good friends of a couple that works with Dan so it was nice to see them again. I also had a great time admiring the attire of the evening. There were everything from sweater sets and skirts to floor length gowns. Some men wore their suits they have for work every day while still others had festive tuxes. I may have enjoyed me super fun purple dress but I don't think I took off my coat for any longer a time than it took to take the above picture. I was a bit on the chilly side. Next year I'm going to have a sweater set. It was nice to dress up. I even made jewelry especially for this evening. I don't have pictures of that though. About the Christmas party though. They actually said a prayer in Jesus' name. Awesome! There were a few hundred people filling up the ballroom of the Hampton Roads Convention Center. I was impressed.
It did take us an hour and a half to get there. I had already made the drive twice this last week so around 11:30pm as I could barely stay awake to keep Hubby awake on our drive home I decided we need to get moved ASAP. God has most obviously had His hand on Hubby for the last 10 months as he has made this drive. I don't know how he has done it. I'm using every super power I have to get us moved down there post haste.
I had promised you all pics from Thanksgiving. Sorry they are late. Before Thanksgiving, Nags Head North Carolina sustained some permanent damage due to a mighty storm and this is what was left. The beach lost ten feet of sand. My heart goes out to these home owners as they cannot rebuild.

You did a book interview with me, but did you ever get a book? If you'll send me an address I'll send you one. I'd prefer a po box or business rather than your home, and I'd like to send it in your husband's name.
