Stressful things about moving

1. Finding a new pediatrician made difficult by a lack of availability of good pediatricians (the ones I want aren't accepting new patients) and a need to transfer records here and there including a specialist appointment with a urologist that means a whole list of difficult finagaling I won't go into.

2. We had a blue trashcan in Richmond and thought the blue trash can here was our normal trash can only to find out it isn't, its recycling which is great to have a big recycling trash can accept that we have mountains of trash and the trash man comes Monday but its MLK but then they come on Tuesday which is our first chance to call and get the proper green trash can but then will miss getting our trash picked up until next week. We run the risk of looking like a literal dump with all these bags of trash.

3. Gas company thinks our credit stinks (which it doesn't, its practically perfect) and wanted a 400.00 deposit to hook us up. Heck no. Its bad enough we have to have gas to heat our house in the first place.

4Busted water heater late Saturday morning soaking all the boxes in the garage.

5. Traffic here is enough to get a migraine.

6. Doesn't matter though because I've had one now for three days.

7. I miss my friends in Richmond

Now for the good list

1. I love my friends here.

2. It isn't a new place. We lived here before so we didn't have to start all over again.

3. We have a nice house.

4. There are great resources and I don't have to drive twenty or thirty minutes to get everywhere.

5. Our church has Tuesday morning Bible study with child care and MOPS. Awesome!

6. The ocean.

7. Close to the air port that has the air lines that uses my mom's frequent flier points which means I'll see my mom more here.

The all in all good of it all is that I firmly believe we are in God's hands. I believe we are where we are supposed to be but even if we weren't, He is never going to let go of me. Psalm 139 is testimony to this.

Congratulations on your move! Sounds like you've had some stressful situations but how nice that you're not in a completely new place.
