This and That

Today was our first day at our new old church. Though we were gone to Richmond Virginia for two and a half years, it seems like we are sliding right back into the fold. This evening we enjoyed dinner with friends reminiscing and catching up. Where once we were all childless, we all now have children. Watching them all play together was just awesome. Miss Wiggles is now among many other babies and I am thankful to say comparitively speaking she is now back to average size. In Richmond the only other two baby girls she spent time with weighed the same but were almost two years old. I was getting a might tired of all the chunky baby comments. Now there are chunky babies every where and Miss Wiggles blends in just fine. Not only that, she had a ball with all her new friends. She socialized and then spent most of the afternoons hanging out by herself in her crib. I really do think I have myself a little introvert. If she is around a lot of people then she usually likes to hang out alone in her crib. I was ok with that since I needed a nap myself. Bed time is early tonight.

A neighbor gave us a cookie sheet to borrow while we waited for our stuff to arrive. We bought oven ready meals but needed a cookie sheet to cook them on. I am making him rasberry lemon bars (yes Chloe I'm making you some too) with a recipe that is for diabetics. Basically the only difference is granulated splenda. I have an oven that handles cooking better so I am eager to try it.

The water heater broke last night. Fortunately not to much was damaged in the garage. Some Christmas stuff and a picture from took the brunt of it. We do now have a new water heater. I can sound less stressed about this since its a rental. Thank goodness. I wouldn't mind purchasing it someday though. I really like it quite a bit.

I don't know who out there watches Chuck, but I'm taking this opportunity to say how much I love it. Hubby and I love watching Chuck!

Sunday School this morning we discussed the woman who touched Jesus hem of his robe and was healed from twelve years of menstrual bleeding. Great conversation. One question that came up is how much of God omnicient and man trusting the Holy Spirit did Jesus have. He knew a lot but He also walked by faith He said. It was a great discussion the admitedly no answers came of it which in no way took away from the discussion I must say.
