Happy Birthday Miss Wiggles, a a thought on Judas and a Before and After

Update!:
How could I have forgotten?! Miss Wiggle's daddy made her Birthday Cake. Hubby made a Carrot Cake for scratch for his baby girl. It was a tradition for him that his mommy made him a carrot cake for his birthday. So until she can say what she wants on her Birthday, Carrot Cake it is. I will have to learn to make Angel Food Cake as that was tradition in my family. Who said you could have to much cake? :)

Miss Wiggles Birthday Party was a rousing success! Here is to turning 1! We has so much fun with many of our simply fabulous friends. Our house received such a blessing to be full with so much laughter, good conversation and love. Miss Wiggles received her first cupcake ever. This was actually the first time she had a ton of sugar. Oh my goodness! That child got hyper! Every moment was just wonderful. Thank you to everyone who came and thank you for your warm thoughts and prayers to those who I knew were their in my heart.
My baby girl is one gorgeous little lady. I am so blessed.

Judas Iscariot

I saw a thread on my facebook recently discussing whether Judas Iscariot went to Heaven or not. This seems to be one of those on going debates. I for one am thankful this is a topic God has left shielded from us (though some swear it is quite clear). I love debate but when it becomes personal, this is what I think about it getting personal. We aren't to judge his salvation.James does say we can know a man's faith by his actions but I would venture to say we can only measure his faith by his actions and not his salvation. To get vehement either way indicates our desire to judge. (that or our prides desire to be right ;) I also have observed that when we get emotional about Judas Iscariot being saved, it may be an indicator that there is a deep sin in ourselves we feel we are betraying Jesus by not being able to walk away from. We aren't Judas though. He felt remorse yes, but it was guilt that lead him to suicide. Repentance comes from conviction and rather than guilt, Jesus wants us to accept His forgiveness of that sin. He has already paid the price for our sin and we don't have too.

My younger brother J and his beautiful bride, M gave me a gift set simlar to this one of White Tea and Verban products years ago. I now have half a thing of lotion left. I love it when I need to relax a bit. When the smell washes over me, I always feel like I'm in a Jane Austen movie. A little Mansfield Park anyone?

This last week sincerely did overwhelm me, hence the week away. I was quite overwhelmed. I was able to realign some thought patterns that had gone astray. To be honest, my mind was running in a vain that every thing that happen went through my mind in "How can I blog about this?" Rather than, "I want to go to God about this?". God had been sidelined and that is just not a good thing.

Miss Wiggles was sick before her party and now her daddy and I are sick. Yup, drainage. Actually Miss Wiggles isn't totally better. Her poor little voice is horse. :( The White Tea Verbana has helped me a bit if anything to help me through being a sick nurse. :)

Happy Birthday to Sarah!
As for your comment on my blog, I used to read a lot of parenting books. None that I can say I truly recommend. I started realising that I needed to focus on God's word instead of what so and so was telling me about my kid. I fail a lot, and sometimes I succeed. I keep talking about Jesus, and reading verses with them, and praying that God will do the rest. A book that I do recommend though, is Sacred Parenting by Gary Thomas. It isn't a how to book on parenting but rather how parenting is God's way of sanctifying us. It is a great book.

Happy Birthday to Miss Wiggles! The cake sound yum! Your kitchen looks beautiful. :) I've been praying for you... missing you here. And thank you back for praying for Faith. I can't even imagine. But I'm asking God for a miracle. (Sweet, wasn't it, about the wedding.)
