I lost!

For the record, I lost the bottle battle. Actually, Miss Wiggles wasn't eating and the only thing she would take was a bottle so contrary to my belief, she was indeed willing to both starve and dehydrate herself. After having her fever Wed. and Thurs. and then Friday morning as I caught glimpse of her gums, she was indeed breaking through two more teeth. She never does eat much when she is teething. I figured now isn't the time to push the issue with everything else she is dealing with plus with the traveling comming up, niether of use needed that extra burden of no bottle. She doesn't have a passie and she doesn't really suck on her thumb unless she is really tired, but that bottle, its her soothie. She even carries it everywhere after she is done with it. So, I'm going to take that social norm of no bottle after one and throw it out the window. We're going to have to do this one on our own timing. Considering that she has already had five new teeth and about four colds and a stomach bug since we moved, plus the move itself, yeah, we are going to make our own rules from here on out and those darn baby center updates can take a flying leap. Ok, I like babycenter.com, but well, I'm sure you understand.

Lots of DIY's to come. I spray painted some closet knobs, some sticks, made a pillow and did a nifty new storage thing in my bathroom. I've got bunches more to spray paint plus half a house to paint so of got DIY projects coming out of my ears.

Oh, I'm so excited! Target has this new line, Liberty of London. I am so stinking excited after seeing it Friday that I am going to decorate Sarah's room with one or two of their floral patterns. I can't wait. Gotta save up for it. I've been waiting for the right inspiration to come along and as perused the home section, I almost snapped it all up right then and there but I've got a strict budget so I'm left to day dream and plan.

Tootles for now!

Katie - Don't worry about the bottle. She'll give it up in her own time. I know 3 year olds who have binkies still, because they are comforted by it. No biggie. She'll give it up when she's ready. :) Can't wait to see you tomorrow.
