What I love about the South.

I love ya'll. I mean I love you guys, but what I really mean is ya'll as in the word. I used to say it as a kid, like, in Arizona. Yeah, it didn't go over there like it does here. There I got some strange glances. Here, I fit right in.

I'm sure enough not Southern but I am the Mama of a Southern Girl. I know some of those down more South than me like Georgia or Mississippi or Tennessee may not think this is the south but capital of the former Confederate peeps is the birth place of Captain Wiggles so that makes her Southern. Me, well, I hope Southwestern is good enough. I'm proud of that too by the way.

I'm working on embracing the good ole Southern Hospitality. You may not see much fried food around here but at least now I know a Hush Puppy isn't a puffed pastry. Seriously.

Indeed we are "ya'll"ers! I'm southern to the core! :) I'm a sweet-tea kind of a girl that loves grits. I used to live on horses (but it's been a long time now) and used to drive a tractor in the hayfield. I haven't lived anywhere else. Can't imagine how the rest of the world lives. :)

We have roots in the south. Ministry has called us away, but we still cherish our time and family there (in Tennessee, Alabama and Florida). You'll love it there.
