What a saint!

I can't believe that I have only just now watched Julie and Julia. Wow, that was a very good movie. It is amazing how blogging can work its way into our lives. I love blogging and I love that I have a husband who loves that I love blogging. He has always supported me in having passions. He doesn't care what it is as long as I have something I'm passionate about. I think that is a pretty cool thing.

One thing I am passionate about is my husband. I pray for him often. I recently wrote a book recommendation on Pastor Warren Baldwin's blog for the book, Power of a Praying Wife by Stormie Omartian. I really do love that book and hope you will hop on over and check it out. I also have The Power of a Praying Woman and am purchasing The Power of a Praying Parent. Can never be to prayed up I say.

Tomorrow Hubby has the day off. I'm so thankful. I've missed him this week. I am also thankful to be meeting with a wonderful Christian woman tomorrow. Hubby and Captain Wiggles will spend the morning tomorrow while I head out.

I know I talk about how awesome my husband is a lot but I want to do it again. I've been having a problem in my perception regarding marriage, ministry, and partnership. I somehow feel like my perception is wrong but I just don't know. I'm so confused. I talked with my big brother, Scott, today. I was praying for an answer and then my brother was there IMing me on Facebook so I immediately called him and asked him what he thought as a Christian man about this. He was super helpful. Its always good to get a man's point of view. I want to understand where Hubby is coming from so that helped a lot. Then this dear Christian woman is willing to meet with me and help me out. God is so awesome. I explained to Hubby that I talked this issue over with my brother. He was glad that my brother was there to offer another man perspective. Then when I told him about this awesome Christian woman, he offered to hang out with Captain Wiggles so I could go out.

Seriously! I love, admire and respect my husband. I am always continuously amazed by him. He is thankful that I have these two people to talk to about this difficult issue for me. I imagine this to be abnormal like he should have found out I was talking to someone else about it and get mad. Instead he was thankful and offered to take care of Captain Wiggles. I'm just thankful.

I know it is all a bit cryptic and once I feel that God has really hashed it out for me and I have a little more wisdom on this topic, I will share it. For now I will just tell you in the words of Julie my husband is just terrible and hard to live with. ;) Bon Apetite

I would so love to hear your ponderings about marriage, ministry, and partnership.

If you ever want to chat ... I've been married 27 years ... my husband is in full-time ministry ... I have had a speaking/writing ministry for 25 years.

Partnership? My husband and I worked full-time together, running a school for 5 years. I was actually his "boss" ... which was weird, but we made it work. So, I know all about that partnership thing.

My email addy is on the right column of my blog, just under my profile. :)

Enjoying your blog!

Oh ... by the way ... LOVE the movie ... even got my husband to watch it with me. Sweet hubby is VERY supportive of my blog, which has become quite a ministry for me.

Laurel :)
