Why Hubby Rocks!
Last night I was crankier than cranky. Again the allergy monster hit and my lymph nodes swelled, drainage sludged its way down my throat and mean Katie came out.
Hubby was awesome! He put Captain Wiggles down, we ate left overs, he cleaned the kitchen while I watched Ghost Whisperer and then he ironed while I fell asleep after folding my little bit of laundry.

This last weekend was Hubby's Birthday so we had a little get together on Saturday and went out sans Wiggles on Sunday. I have to confess that I have been horrible for Hubby's Birthdays not making him a cake or doing anything to overly special. The last two I cried. Yeah, pathetic really.
So this last one, I was determined to make it good. It was. Yay!
Here is a list of things that makes my husband awesome.
1. Good back rubs
2. Can make me purr when he runs his hands through my hair
3. Brags about me all the time to anyone who will listen
4. A great wood worker; has made all three book shelves in the study, refinished an old Army trunk and our dinner table
5. Is all on board for weekly visits to the ReStore
6. Calls tall skinny evergreen trees Creepy Italian Trees from Under the Tuscan Sun just because he knows its my favorite movie
7. Gets mad at Willoughby every time we go over Willoughby Spit in Norfolk Va because he has actually watched Sense and Sensibility with me.
8. He quotes my fave movies because he likes to "Find the Romance".
9. He gets a kick out of it when I say, "Your killin' me Smalls, your killin' me!" from Band of Brothers which is now one of my favorite movies
10. He is absolutely in love with Captain Wiggles and the sound of them playing and watching This Old House every Saturday morning while I sleep in is better than just about anything else I can ever think of.
