Making a bold statement

Anthropology has a great new catalog that is super inspiring for both your wardrobe and your home. Casa Sugar did a great job of capturing some of the inspiring ideas. If I could afford it, I would shop there. Then again, it is a lot of fun trying to copy the looks for as little mullah as possible.
I have this thing I do. When I hear myself make a blanket statement I try and challenge my presupposition about my own likes and dislikes. I once made a blanket statement that I didn't like working with the elderly. Well, there is a thought structure when it comes to what we know and I apply it to what I know of myself; what I know I know, what I don't know I know, what I know I don't know and what I don't know I don't know. Follow me on this. So after that blanket statement I spent a summer volunteering at a convalescent home. I learned a lot about those wonderful people and I learned A LOT about myself. I may continue to make bold presuppositions about myself but when I can, I will challenge them and I sometimes am quite excited when others do the same.
A recent bold statement that I made was to a friend who expressed a desire to add yellow to her living room palate which is currently khaki, white, a soft blue and black. I said I didn't like yellow. Not what you were expecting? Yeah, I surprised you on that one.
Ooh!...ok, not as deep as the previous statement, but it did get me thinking. Where are some areas I love yellow. So here are some super sunny pics I went and googled.
