Nesting

In order to make a house a home, Momma Bear needs to make sure is right or else no matter how pretty the curtains are or the food is, well, things just are not gonna go good. So I've been working on memorizing Romans 12. It isn't like I'm doing it all at once. Its one verse a week. Easy right? Well, memorizing is easy if you don't apply it to scripture which pisses Satan off not to mention changes how you see things. When how you see things changes, how you do things based on how you see things changes. How people are responding to how you do things based on how you see things is disrupted. So basically, scripture memorization is like going to the physical therapist. It can be pretty uncomfortable in the beginning but eventually you start seeing the rewards. No pain no gain. If its worth having, its worth working for and you get what you pay for. So if I want a joy filled spirit, a peace filled home, what not and so on, then well, I push up my sleeves and dig in.

Speaking of nesting and digging in.

Earlier this week, Miss Wiggles went outside to water a hanging plant and ended up playing outside, watering all the plants and the yard and ourselves while all still in our pjs. Cool huh? I know I think I wrote about that already. Here is picture of the cutest little watered pj clad baby girl.

Isn't she just amazing? We love being outside. Here are some pictures of our outside.

It has been fun having our first garden and we are learning so far we've had a return of one melon. Yes, like I said we are learning. Maybe next year. Its been fun anyway.

That is the pepper plants just a tad bigger than what it was when we bought it. Cut but pepperless.

A good friend of mine had mercy on us and gave us one of her tomato plants. There is even a red tomato on it. I planted it in its pot like she said and am watering it diligently. It rained ALOT yesterday so hopefully things will get crackin' in the garden.

My good pal also gave us fresh basil now hanging above the kitchen sink. Yay!

There is the melon to the right, then the Peace Lilly Hubby received after his Papa's passing. My coffee. Last but not least, the tomatoes and peppers my pal also gave us. There were more tomatoes but.....

They are now simmering in my crock pot making us some...hopefully and prayerfully....yummy spaghetti sauce. I'll let you know how that goes. We have Guinea pigs, I mean friends from out of town tonight to share it with us.

Last but not least the picture I forgot to rotate for you so just turn your head side ways and you will be good. I'm not fancy photographer for sure but that is gonna be some good fresh bread to go with the spaghetti tonight. Frozen bread loaves; 5 for $2 at Wal-Mart (or was that $3?)
Well, anyway. That what we have going on around here. Good times, good times. In a bit, we are off to the beach to enjoy some good hang time with friends.
Adios mis amigos!
