While I filled my mind with dreams of bulbs peaking out of dark fragrant soil and blooms as radiant as a rainbow, vegetables filling my garden with mouth watering goodness, God chose last night to spread a light quilt of greys and white across my peninsula off the Chesapeake.

Eventually, Miss Wiggles and I will venture out to take pictures of this particular dusting. For now I remember snows from our home in the country before our last move to the sea. There was that little creek at the boarder of our yard and the bit of trees that offered lots of shade and imaginings of wild animals, fairies, wood nymphs and such.

For now I thank God for this bit of snow as it is sure to saturate my soil preparing the right kind of nutrients that is needed. Yesterday I planted tomatoes, cucumbers, and a whole passel of flowers like Zinnia, Larkspur and Bachelor Buttons. At this moment spring holds so much promise.
For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.
