Slipping into the season

We are having a ball around here...well, the best we can. Its planting season and as I work on growing the little guy in my belly, we are also working on a prosperous vegetable garden. So far we have:

-three big tomato plants with big tomatoes (forgot what kind due to prego brain)

-three small tomato plants called jellybean tomatoes (because who is gonna forget a name like that?)

Next up to plant

-three more tomato plants

-cucumber plant

-strawberry plant

- pepper seeds to grow

-squash seeds to grow

Now as I continue on the fun adventure of making my family's bread all I need are chickens and I will be a certified farm girl in the city... of course we are in the city so chickens ain't gonna happen. Fresh eggs would be pretty awesome though right?

Well as far as growing our next bambino, he is doing really great. I will hopefully scan some ultra sound pics soon (sorry Mom) and you can see his insanely long lashes and full head of hair. I'm so in love already. I'm not letting that sweet content little face fool me on the ultra sound though. This kid is gonna be a contender! I think my ribs are bruised already. He likes to stretch out and push his head down as hard as he can... stops me in my tracks let me tell you, ouch. I am able to sleep ok though. I can organize the pillows with the best of them. Oh yeah, and Tylenol PM. Couldn't live without it.

Life is quite content right now, loving the mornings on the back deck and the afternoon walks to the park. Hopefully this weekend we will have our own play structure with swings, slide, rock wall, tree house and I will be quite happy to enjoy sitting on the deck then rather than walking all the way to the park.

Good times, good times.

Glad to see things are going well! I have a small backyard garden, too, all in pots. Even raising fruit bushes in big pots. Chickens ... I would like them, too.

Praying for God's blessings on your family. WB
